Abstract
|
|
|
We Present here one case of malpractice in fracture treatment of femoral shaft and malunion in a child.
In general, the fracture treatment of the femoral shaft in childiren is of non-operative measure except for some extremely rare incetances.
We performed osteotomy for the malunited femeral shaft and applied Russel´s traction with the aid of skeletal traction pin.
The result was excellent within 8 weeks as the usual one in fresh fracture managements.
